Both Peter and Mignonne welcome you to Driftwood situated a mere 10-minute walk from
the centre of Kenmare where we are sure you will have a pleasant and relaxing stay with us.
The award-winning town boasts some of the best restaurants in Ireland and is in
an easy distance to tour the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula.
The area has spectacular natural beauty where walking, cycling and outdoor pursuits
will allow you to fully enjoy the charm of the south west coast of Ireland.
Driftwood is also situated adjacent to the Kenmare golf course,
which has an 18-hole course overlooking the Kenmare and Sheen rivers.
For those who are using a car private onsite parking is available.

On the ground floor there is a guest sitting room where quietness prevails,
this enables guests to read from the library or even chat in comfort.
The breakfast room is spacious, bright and tables laid out for each room to sit in comfort.
Light classical music sets the scene for a relaxing home cooked breakfast
which includes freshly baked bread.
A balcony is available on warm days for breakfast to be taken outside.

Driftwood is overlooking the Kenmare Golf Course in the back.
The 18 hole course is set along the shores of the Kenmare bay and designed
by Eddy Hackett.
